Review Board Oversight Functions to Ensure Greater Accountability and Adherence to the State Bar’s Broadly-Defined Mission of Public Protection
Study and/or Propose Reforms across the Organization
Make Board and Organizational Rules Available to the Public and Review Progress on Making them User-Friendly and Transparent
Explore the Creation of a Compliance Unit or Assign Compliance
to an Existing Committee to Ensure Organizational Adherence to Governing Rules
Study and Implement Additional Transparency Measures
Review Progress on Institutionalizing Commitment to the State Bar’s Mission of Public Protection and in State Bar Strategic Planning
Continue to Evaluate the Board Governance Structure for Efficiencies and Effectiveness
