1. Review and comment/discussion on revisions to the Rules Sub-Committee's December 31, 2018 memo.
2. Review and discussion of the memo analyzing Rules of Professional Conduct, rule 5.7.
3. Review and discussion on existing case law defining or setting standards for attorney competency (Rule of Professional Conduct, rule 1.1) as it relates to technology and innovation.
a. Are existing rulings applicable, or even practical, when discussing new technology?
b. Can attorneys offer "do-it-yourself" products for their clients, without personally speaking with each client? Disclaimers should also be reviewed and considered.
4. Whether addressing the issue of fee sharing will go a long way in addressing the UPL issue.
a. If attorneys can fee share, does that minimize the need for paraprofessionals?

b. Is the implementation of an entirely new system of paraprofessionals financially untenable and therefore unrealistic.

5. Discussion of Next Steps and Research Assignments for April Meeting.
